The United Women In Faith Scholarships
The United Women in Faith (UMIF) were delighted to formally present two, $2,000 scholarship for local HS seniors to use toward college expenses. The presentation of these scholarships was held at Coffee Hour following our church service on Sunday, June 7th.
The scholarship opportunity was publicized to all local high schools. Applicants had to formally apply, provide letters of recommendation and transcripts, and sit for an interview with the Scholarship Committee. The Committee selected two candidates, Olivia and Skylar, both from Watchung Regional High School. Each young lady excelled in academics, extracurricular activities and sports.
Congratulations to Olivia who is heading off to St. John’s University and Skylar who is heading off to Bucknell University!

I would like to sincerely thank you for awarding me the $2,000 scholarship. I am truly grateful for your generosity, kindness, and support as I prepare to begin this new chapter in my life.
I believe this blessing is a reflection of God’s grace working through your church and congregation. Your encouragement and investment in my future mean more to me than words can express. This scholarship will help support my college education at St. John’s University and inspire me to continue striving toward my goals with faith, determination, and gratitude.
I am thankful to be supported by a community that believes in uplifting and encouraging young people through both education and faith. I pray that God continues to bless your church and everyone who contributes to helping students like me pursue their dreams.
